☉
Diane Love began designing for Trifari in 1970, and her brief was unusual for a costume house: interpret historic art rather than decorate. This pendant is that idea at its most direct — Sekhmet and Osiris rendered in gold plate, drawn from Egyptian sources and made wearable without being diluted into ornament. It is museum-level design that happens to hang at the chest. The chain is 25.5 inches long and 7/8 inch wide; the pendant is 3.25 inches wide and 4.25 inches long, which is a genuinely substantial piece of metal. It is signed with the Crown Trifari mark on both the clasp and the pendant. Excellent vintage condition.
