1960s Crown Trifari Gold Plate & Enamel Turban Genie Statement Brooch

A turbaned genie in gold plate and enamel, and the whole argument for why Trifari is still collected sixty years on. Design like this is the reason the house's name survived when so many of its contemporaries did not: it does not ask to be noticed, it simply is, and it makes whoever wears it the center of the room. The brooch is in such condition that we find ourselves wondering whether it has ever been worn at all. It is signed with the Crown Trifari mark on the reverse and measures 1.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall.
